My New Best Friend

Well, the morning started off a little rough, but it has gotten better. Ryan got out of his "mood" and became the happy baby that he usually is...thank goodness...that is what keeps me sane!

Now he is off to dream world...hopefully he will stay there for quite a while this morning. :)

New Best Friend - you will notice that brown dog has made it onto the scene in both sets of pics this morning. Well, that has become our new favorite companion. Ryan LOVES feeling his fur and grabbing hold of him. He slept with him all day yesterday and last night. Too funny!

Good Morning Daddy

Our morning has started off a little rough & early - let's hope yours has been better. :)

Someone was ready to get up at 5:45, but has fussed since he opened his eyes. (as I think you can tell by the face in the pictures) I think we are going to lay off the pears today and see if it makes a difference. At least he didn't wake up like the night before.

Praises for the small things. :)

For everyone else - Mike is in the Domincan Republic - I know, rough life. So, I am staying home with little Ryan...how is it that I am the one that LOVES to travel and I have yet to go anywhere??? So, please be thinking about me while I am holding down the fort! hahaha

Mirror, Mirror, On the Wall....

Ryan is FASCINATED by mirrors. After his bath that is all he wants to do...it cracks us up the way that he leans forward and then backward to get better views and perspective.

21 weeks pics

Just a couple from this week....

Almost there....

Sitting up...we are getting so close. Ryan turns 21 weeks today and hitting so many milestones. He is so much fun because he is very interactive. He smiles at EVERYONE! He is working on turning over from back to front. I cannot wait until he is able to accomplish this trick because then I won't have to listen to him fuss when he turns over in the middle of the night to his back and then gets stuck! :)

Loving the Lake

Finally, Ryan LOVES the lake - really any water for that matter. So, we had so much fun taking him out every day while at home. Mike was with him the most last Saturday and Ryan really had a Blast hanging with his Dad.

Even Riley got into the swimming action!!

Ryan was tired after swimming so I put him in the hammock all bundled up and still in his bathing suit. He was so cute all tucked up like a little burrito. He totally enjoyed the hammock and slept for about 30 minutes! :)

Leftover 19 weeks pics

These are from last week - I left the cord to download my pictures and just got it in the mail from my parents today. So, here is the rest of our week.

Some girlfriends from high school came over on Friday and Regan brought Manning - she is only 5 weeks younger than Ryan - what a monster he is! He looks like a 9month old compared to dainty little Manning. Oh well, I guess boys are supposed to be bigger - right? :)

20 weeks - WOW

Ryan is now 20 weeks old...really close to 5 months now. I cannot believe it!!!

He is doing great and was getting on a great schedule - 3 naps a day and pretty good ones too! :)

Today I think he has blown the whole nap thing because he was up at 3:45am this morning until 4:30 and then back up at 5:15...the day started early for me!!!

He has now been asleep for....3.5 hours and counting!! I don't know if he is ever going to wake up. I have been in NUMEROUS times to make sure he is still breathing. He NEVER does this at this time of day. Guess he is making up for last night, but I bet this will be the TOTAL nap for the day. No break for Mommy later!! hahaha

Here he is in his jumperoo. He loves it and just turns and plays for ever...it is GREAT!!!!

Cousins....

GiGi's Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIGI!!

We are in SC this week because Mike had to go to Asheville - to the Grove Park Inn - rough life. Anyway, he decided to drive up so that he could drop Ryan and me off in Columbia.

We have had a good time so far - yesterday was Mom's birthday. So, we celebrated by taking her to lunch at Za's and then hanging at her office. Dad is out of town - due back tonight - so we are celebrating again tonight. :)

Tuesday I got a break as Mom's friend, Deloris, kept Ryan so I could run errands. It was wonderful! Monday we met up with our friends Kelley and Rob - they are having a little boy due June 27. Today my cousins are coming over to hang with Ryan. So, this will be a fun day.
