35 weeks and 4 days

The days are flickering by quickly...not too much longer at work. Ryan has a couple more weeks of school and then it is, hopefully, some down time with the little one and on to June with a new baby girl.

Our Little Arctic Cat Rider

Worst Parent's of the Year Award
We would win!! Poor Ryan...good thing he doesn't know the difference...yet.
For Ryan's birthday he got money for a powered ride-on toy. Well, we waited until just last week to buy the thing...yes, if you are counting, that is 3 months behind his birthday...whew..are we awful or what?
Either way, Ryan didn't seem to mind the addition of a new toy to play on outside and has happily enjoyed it all week. :)
Here he is the 1st morning that it was charged...yay Ryan...as he says.

Friday, May 7

Big Day...May 7...
My 1st Mother's Day Event. We did Milk and Muffins at Ryan's school. How sweet!! I left from work to attend and was greeted by my little one with potted flower in hand. Of course, I almost had to pry it out of his hands to get a good look since munchkin seemed to think that it somehow belonged to him just because his fingers prints happened to grace the outside decoration. hmpf!
The next event was milk and muffins...that was great...until his teacher offered me milk. We all know how I feel about that. Thank goodness I was able to carefully slide that back onto the table before anyone noticed. :) The muffins were great and the kids were so sweet in trying to share the muffins that their little hands helped to make. We played and hung out for 30 minutes and all the children were so excited to see the Mommy's show up. It was so cute. So glad that I was able to go and see what Ryan is like at school with all the little girls. :) (he is only 1 of 2 boys in the class on any given day and Jake was out on Friday...so, that left Ryan with about 10 little girls.)
I took a picture of him this morning that turned out so sweet. I have been such a bad Mama lately. No pictures of Ryan...at all. I just haven't had that energy to get my camera out...pathetic, I know.
Also, above, a picture of Ryan with his teacher's - Miss Leigh and Miss Caroline -- both pregnant too and due in late September. pregnancy is definitely in the water around this town.

Easter Morning

Here is my basket. We went to church with Mom and Dad in Chapin. it was a lot of fun to see a different church. We went back to the house and had lunch consisting of Bojangles fried chicken (Birmingham doesn't have Bojangles!!) and then we packed up to make the LONG trip back home. We thought we were going to be "golden" and that Ryan would sleep a long time...not the case.
The pollen came out in full force while we were in Columbia. Ryan has some MAJOR seasonal allergies. He fell asleep before we could even reach the interstate, but he coughed himself awake within an hour. He was awake the whole rest of the trip...Bummer!!
I have to say though, the trip now is a whole lot different than it was a year ago. Ryan did GREAT the whole way there and back. He watched movies or talked, etc. No fussing, crying, constant demand for attention. It was heaven!!
I have 1 picture from Easter morning with us, but it is on my parent's camera. I will post when I get it.

The whole family met at Mom and Dad's Saturday night for a little playtime and supper. It was so much fun and so great to see all of my family that we haven't seen since Christmas!!
Ryan had a blast following cousins around, hanging out with aunts and uncles, and chasing after Weston. Nothing could be better in his mind!!
