Easter Sunday April 12

Easter is here and we had a great day!! (except for the fact that we were here by ourselves and didn't get to see any family. We definitely missed all of the get-togethers and the food!!)

Oh, and we missed getting to see Doc on his birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOC!! hope you had a great time celebrating in Europe!! Can't wait to see ALL of our family very soon.

here are some pictures from after church and before naptime. We went to the 8am service. So, we had time before nap at 10ish to go the park and take some pictures. Ryan had a BLAST running around and being chased by Daddy...he was so cute laughing and running away from Mike and straight into my arms to be "safe". Then he would turn around, cut his eyes at Mike and run giggling in the other way for the game to start all over.

Church was excellent...at least that was good since we were by ourselves. Our pastor always has such a relevant message. We get so much out of listening to him every week. It is a great start to our week.

Easter Party

Yesterday Beth had a little Easter party for the boys. I was so excited since Ryan wasn't really going any where else to hunt for eggs. Well, of course Ryan picks this day to take his normal 2 hour naps twice vs the 3 hour 1 a day nap that he has been doing for the last week. So, egg hunting time was right when it needed to be nap time. We soldiered on, but you can tell from the pics that Ryan was easily "set off". So unlike him. He loved the cupcake, the ride-on toy, and the actual egg hunt. He just didn't want to sit still and get his picture taken. Oh well...guess I will have to get used to that. :)

Before the party started Ryan had a blast on Jake's Christmas ride-on toy. Looks like we are going to have to make another purchase...

Bedhead

Pictures of Ryan as he woke up from his nap. His hair looked so funny that I couldn't resist.

Another new thing Ryan started doing this week was going through his photo album. It is so funny to see him point to himself in pictures.

Ryan's favorite activity...going into Mike's office, turning on the radio, dancing like crazy, and then (when he doesn't like the song) raiding Mike's desk and taking this one particular folder out of the drawer and putting it back in. Over and over and over...

So, we put Ryan back in his boots to see how he would do. He is doing better and better. It is so funny to watch him walk around in "heels". He definitely walks like a little cowboy.
