Surprise Baby Shower

I had plans to meet my High School girlfriends for brunch at Panera on Saturday morning...little did I know that they planned to turn this little get-together into a surprise baby shower for Kaitlyn!! How sweet!! My friends are incredible. I so wish that I lived a little closer so I could actually see them every once in a while! :)

Easter Weekend 2010

We went home for the first time since Christmas to celebrate Easter with our families. We had such a great time!!

Ryan WORE HIMSELF OUT!!

He played with Gigi and Pop all day Friday - we got out every outside toy that exists and he spent 5 hours playing with them -- throwing balls, riding trucks, writing with chalk, chasing Riley, wandering on his own, throwing rocks in the water, testing us to see how far we would let him in the water...etc, etc, etc. he slept GREAT!!

Friday night, Ryan totally held court while on "Doc's Boat" as he calls it. We met Mimi and Doc up at Lake Murray Marina to hang out with them and some of their friends. Ryan was definitely the entertainment...and he loved every minute of it!!

Mimi Visits and Doc comes too...

Ryan had such a blast over his spring break. I hated that I had to work the whole time, but Mimi kept him entertained every day. He LOVED it!!

They played hard with all of Ryan's toys and then went to the zoo when Doc got here for the weekend. Mike and I decided that since we had some built-in help that we would take the time to take a little trip for ourselves and celebrate our 8th anniversary!! Hard to believe...8 years!! WOW...time is FLYING by!

I am 29 weeks and doing good at this point. We got to lay out, go for walks, rent movies, go out to a nice restaurant and just, plain RELAX!! It was heaven. So wonderful in fact, that the last pictures is what my beautiful ankles/legs look like after a few days of rest. Can't even tell I am pregnant!! Hahaha...oh, if they only looked this way every other day of this pregnancy!! :)
