The Christmas program at school. As most schools do, ours also had a Christmas program. It was on a Tuesday, but the MWF children were invited to come back and attend/participate in the program. I show up knowing nothing about what is going to happen except that the children are told to wear black shirts. I wasn't sure why, but I had Ryan dressed in his black. I get to his class room and all the girls (yes, there are about 8 girls that attend on T/Th and no boys) were all in their black and were about to put on their masks...hmm, masks...oh, the children are supposed to be little black sheep. Interesting. I wasn't sure how Ryan was going to do with a mask, but I let Ms. Jen tie it right on him. He did great and really seemed to do a good job keeping it on. He was very concerned that it would fall off, so he was being extra careful. All the children filed into the auditorium and sat in the front with the other 2 yr old class of "white" sheep. They sang their song (ryan turned around looking at the big kids behind him most of the time) and then they got off the stage to go have refreshments in the hall. all in all it was really cute and I am glad that we went in on a Tuesday for it.
